About the Webhook integration

The webhook integration POSTs a clean JSON payload to any URL when an agent on auto catches a high-severity finding. Point it at your own service or a Zapier or Make hook, and route alerts into anything those tools support.

Key features

POSTs a JSON payload to any endpoint you choose

Payload carries source, title, body, severity and a link

Works with Zapier, Make or your own service

Connect by pasting a single endpoint URL

Outbound only, a one-way POST with no inbound access

Set up the webhook integration

  1. 1

    Add your endpoint URL

Paste the destination URL, your own service or a Zapier or Make hook, into GrowthMeteor.

  2. 2

    Confirm the payload

Each alert arrives as JSON with the source, title, body, severity and a link back.

  3. 3

    Set the agent to auto

Raise the crisis or integrity agent to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting, POSTs wait for your approval first.

What you can do with it

Pipe to Zapier or Make

Point the webhook at a catch hook and route alerts anywhere.

Build your own workflow

Clean JSON your service can act on however you want.

Wire into existing systems

Send the raw signal to a script or internal tool.

Carry everything

source, title, body, severity and a link in every payload.

Webhook integration questions, answered

How do I connect a webhook?+

Paste the destination URL into GrowthMeteor. It can be your own endpoint or a hook from Zapier, Make or a similar tool.

What does the payload look like?+

A simple JSON object with the source, a title, a body, the severity and a link back to the conversation, so the receiving service has everything it needs.

Can I use this with Zapier?+

Yes. Point the webhook at a Zapier or Make catch hook and route GrowthMeteor alerts into any app those tools support.

What triggers a webhook POST?+

High-severity crisis and integrity alerts, once an agent is set to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting nothing is sent until you approve it.
