The Slack integration sends GrowthMeteor alerts into a channel you choose, using a Slack incoming webhook. When an agent on auto catches a high-severity crisis or integrity finding, it posts the headline, the detail, the severity and a link back, so your team can triage without leaving Slack.

Set up the Slack integration

Create a Slack incoming webhook
In Slack, add an Incoming Webhooks app for the channel you want alerts in, and copy the webhook URL.

Paste the URL into GrowthMeteor
Open Settings, choose Slack as a destination, and paste the webhook URL. That is the whole connection.

Set the agent to auto
Raise the crisis or integrity agent to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting, alerts wait in-app for your approval before anything posts.

How do I connect Slack to GrowthMeteor?+
Create an incoming webhook in Slack for the channel you want, then paste the webhook URL into GrowthMeteor. There is no app to install and no OAuth step.
Is the Slack integration two-way?+
No. GrowthMeteor sends alerts out to Slack; it does not read your Slack messages or pull data back in. It is outbound only.
What gets sent to Slack, and when?+
High-severity crisis and integrity alerts, once an agent is set to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting nothing posts automatically, alerts wait for your review in-app.
