About the Salesforce integration
The Salesforce integration creates a record (a Task by default, or a Lead or Case) when an agent on auto catches a high-severity finding. Connect with OAuth, choose the object, and each record carries the detail and a link back. For a Task, priority is set to high when severity is high.
Key features
Creates a Salesforce Task, Lead or Case from a high-intent alert
Task priority set to high when the alert crosses a severity threshold
Each record links back to the source conversation
Connect with OAuth, your instance captured at connect time
Outbound only, GrowthMeteor never reads your Salesforce data
Set up the Salesforce integration
- 1
Authorize with Salesforce
Connect GrowthMeteor to Salesforce via OAuth. Your instance URL is captured automatically and tokens refresh on their own.
- 2
Choose what gets created
Pick whether alerts create a Task, a Lead or a Case. Task is the default.
- 3
Set the agent to auto
Raise the crisis or integrity agent to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting, records wait for your approval first.
What you can do with it
Capture buying signals
A high-intent mention becomes a Lead or Task, ready for a rep.
Prioritize by severity
Urgent items create a Task set to high priority automatically.
Keep the CRM the source of truth
Public signals land as records, not screenshots.
A trail to the conversation
Every record links back to the post that triggered it.
Salesforce integration questions, answered
What does GrowthMeteor create in Salesforce?+
A Task, Lead or Case, your choice at connect time (Task by default). It includes the alert detail and a link back to the source conversation.
How is priority set?+
For a Task, GrowthMeteor sets priority to high when the alert crosses a severity threshold, and normal otherwise, so the urgent ones surface first.
Is the Salesforce integration two-way?+
No. GrowthMeteor writes records into Salesforce; it does not read your CRM data back. It is outbound only.
What triggers a Salesforce record?+
High-severity crisis and integrity alerts, once an agent is set to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting nothing is created until you approve it.
