About the HubSpot integration
The HubSpot integration creates a note in your activity feed when an agent on auto catches a high-severity finding. Connect with a private-app token, and each note carries the detail and a link back, ready for your team to attach to a contact or deal.
Key features
Creates a HubSpot note from a high-intent mention or alert
Each note carries the detail and a link to the source conversation
Lands in the activity feed to attach to a contact or deal
Connect with a private-app token, no OAuth app to register
Outbound only, GrowthMeteor never reads your HubSpot data
Set up the HubSpot integration
- 1
Create a private-app token
In HubSpot, create a private app with permission to write notes, and copy its access token.
- 2
Paste the token into GrowthMeteor
Open Settings, choose HubSpot as a destination, and paste the token.
- 3
Set the agent to auto
Raise the crisis or integrity agent to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting, notes wait for your approval first.
What you can do with it
Log the context behind a deal
A public buying signal lands as a note in your activity feed.
Capture complaints early
An emerging issue is logged before it reaches the inbox.
Attach to the right record
Drop the note onto a contact or deal in a click.
A link to the source
Every note links back to the conversation that triggered it.
HubSpot integration questions, answered
How do I connect HubSpot?+
Create a HubSpot private app with permission to write notes, then paste its access token into GrowthMeteor.
Does it attach the note to a contact automatically?+
The note lands as a standalone entry in your activity feed; your team attaches it to the right contact or deal. This keeps the integration simple and avoids mismatching records.
Is the HubSpot integration two-way?+
No. GrowthMeteor writes notes into HubSpot; it does not read your CRM data back. It is outbound only.
What triggers a HubSpot note?+
High-severity crisis and integrity alerts, once an agent is set to auto or auto-capped. On the default suggest setting nothing is logged until you approve it.
